Creative Practices

What I did: -

Camera Workshop

In this lesson the group learnt more about: -

• The camera
• Camera techniques e.g. obtaining good depth of field

What we did then: -

• We used the techniques learnt to capture shots with movement.
• We edited the captured footage so that we created a narrative of visuals.

What did you learn?

I learnt more about cinematic techniques that convey visual language.

Conclusion: –

This was a very useful lesson that helped my understanding of the camera. It also gave me a better understanding of visual language. I will continue to learn more about the camera and cinematography as the course progresses, this being an area that I am very much interested in.
